Our Well-Being Baby Scan is a traditional 2D baby scan that can be conducted at any stage of your pregnancy after your initial NHS appointment. The well-being scan focuses on the development of your unborn baby and allows us to check growth measurements, foetal movement, weight calculations, establish placenta position, amniotic fluid volume, provide an audible heartbeat trace and identify the position of your baby. It is important to drink 1 litre of water 40 minutes before the scan if less than 20 weeks gestation.

The primary focus of this package is to closely monitor the development of your unborn baby across 3 appointments. During these scans, we assess growth measurements, observe foetal movements, calculate weight, determine placental placement, evaluate amniotic fluid levels, provide an audible heartbeat trace, and pinpoint the baby's position. To ensure optimal results, it's essential to hydrate by drinking 1 litre of water approximately 40 minutes before the scan if you are under 20 weeks gestation.
